Tubing - 8/17/11
I went tubing for the first time back on 8/17/11. My friend Tegan is from Hazelton ID and her parents have a boat. Her Dad takes the youth from the two Hazelton wards boating before school starts every year. He invited us to bring our girls out. Only 3 girls and 3 leaders were able to go. I had A BLAST!!! Can't wait to go again.
Boise 10K Dirty Dash
This time i didn't have to do the 10K by myself. It made it so much more fun to have Kevin with me! there were a few more/different obstacles and more MUD! It was great. So without having an 3rd person with us at the race, we had no one to take our pics. So this is what you get. I'm hoping for some good pics from the Dirty Dash photographers.
We had a MUDDY FUN TIME!!!

bracelets
Who knew that making bracelets in the car
would NOT make me car sick.
I don't normally get car sick but I've tried reading in the past
and that's not so good.
But my friend Tegan showed us how to make 'square bracelets' at girls camp and I've loved making them ever since. I even taught my niece how to make them. Now she is hooked on making them too!
So to make our car ride home from CA go fast (since Kevin drove the whole way) i thought i would try to make a few...well i ended up making about 16 from North Las Vegas (Hwy 93) all the way to Twin Falls. Not too shabby!
That drive thru NV is long and boring....but it went super fast this time.
I think I've found something that will make car rides fun!
Here is a pic of the ones i made on the car ride.
(the two bottom ones are just done with 3 pieces of thread, not 5 like the others)
(the pink/orange/white was my tester with the 3 strings of scraps)
