35 wks

Our appt went well yesterday. Passed all my tests. I was a little worried about my blood pressure, but i guess it was still ok. So we are good for another week! WOO HOO!

My friend had her twin girls yesterday - 8 weeks early - just under 4 lbs each. They are doing well in the NICU. So grateful for that. If you'd like to say a little prayer for them, I'm sure it would be much appreciated. Kristel Johnson & baby girls Johnson.

Ultrasound Pics 12/4/12

 Baby B - still did not want to cooperate to show his face -- but did get all his other vitals today. So that's good.

 Also, Baby B is "sitting Indian style". I can tell because the Tech pointed it out. I can explain it better in person.  :)

Baby A's face. He was not happy with us because we woke him up. He yawned and moved around. But he didn't look to happy in his pics. LOL.

My mom said that Baby A has Kevin's nose. LOL. We'll see in a few weeks!

The Boy's are measuring GREAT! The doctor is really impressed with how they are growing. How big they are & how proportionate they are to eachother. All in all its great! So i go back in two weeks and will have a non-stress test. And it sounds like that will be a weekly thing from then on out. The doc said...well you are in the final 4-6 weeks! I was like...WHAT?!?!  but it's looking about right. They are measuring 3 weeks ahead. Weighing-in at approximately 5lbs 1 oz & 5lbs 7oz. OH! the tech did mention that one of them had hair. i didn't see it. LOL.

31 weeks today

Today marks 31wks. CrAzY! Boys are moving alot lately. i'm sure they are running out of room...tho i think they are trying to make more room stretching out.

Can't wait for our appt next week. They will do another ultrasound to measure their size. I hope we've had some good growth. We want some big boys!

We are also buying the cribs this weekend. SO excited about that. Can't wait to see the nursery really come together. Tho i haven't found a dresser yet. better get cracking on it.

BIG Boys

Had my 28wk appt today. Everything went great. The Boys are fantastic. Weighing in at 3lbs 10 oz and 3 lbs 8 oz. They are measuring about 2.5-3 weeks ahead of Schedule.

Can't believe i'm at the start on my 3rd Trimester. So exciting and a little scary at the same time. It's coming so quickly...but even the doctor said those last weeks week are going to feel L-O-N-G!  I am hoping all the hussle of the holiday's will make the time go a little quicker.

I am so grateful to my Heavenly Father for our boys. For them growing healthy and strong. For a good easy pregnancy. For all the love & support we get from our friends & family.

Now all that is left is touch-ups!

(Which there is quite a few - unfortunately)

I know Kevin is totally burnt of this project...

but it turned out SO GOOD!!

Can I just say my husband is AMAZING!

Saw this pattern online and he is making it happen in our nursery! Its not finished yet. Still need to get the little white "stitching lines" and then touch up little areas. But he's done this in a week!

Totally excited to get the nursey all set up!

We will buy cribs when we get paid at the end of this month. Still need to figure out what we're doing for a dresser. But we've got the carseats and stroller already.

5 week difference

I think there has been some growth in the last 5 weeks.

Pink shirt is taken at 18wks. Brown shirt was taking today at 23wks.

freak out moment

I had a first time pregnant(mom) Freak Out moment today. Ran into the Drs office to make sure all was well. Which it is. Everything is perfect. YAY! here are a few pics

20wks today

Don't know why i have a worried expression. oh well. I think i look pretty good for 20wks with twins!

19wks

Had my 19wk appt yesterday. The BOYS look fantastic! (confirmed again they are still very much two boys) The ultrasound tech called them "over achievers" as they are measuring about a week early. They are also very close to the same size. So no BIG one and small one. No two babies grow the same...even twins...so they will never measure the same. But they are within a day or two of eachother and the doctor was very pleased! One measured 12oz and the other 10oz. They would NOT cooperate and give us any good facial shots (see below pic where they have their backs turned to us and an arm covering their faces - little stinkers!). Kevin said they are plotting against us already. LOL. I would agree with that. They are both still head down. I hope they stay that way...tho i don't think i want four feet up into my rib cage in a few months/or weeks.

2nd Tri

Today is day one of Week 14...which means...I am starting my Second Trimester! YAY!!!! I am so blessed and happy.

Our official due date it 1/31/13.  But they said to plan 4-6 weeks early. I'm shooting for 2-3 weeks early. I would love to keep them in till about 38-39 weeks. I know it would be way uncomfortable, but they would be so much better off.

People have said to me that since there is two in there i should be showing by now. Which if you look close you can tell i have a little belly, but most of my regular clothes mask that fact, but in my church dress its more noticeable.

People have said that by now they can feel bits of movement. I don't know what i should be looking for...or should i say feeling for...so I'm not sure i have noticed anything. There are times where I'm like "OK that did feel like something", but then i think I'm just imagining things because i think i should feel something. I will in the next few weeks I'm sure and then it will get crazy with feeling both of them.

I have yet to take any "belly pictures". It's funny, because when i always imagined being pregnant i'd take them every week and yada yada yada. Yup...nothing. I should start tho, since i'll probably start showing soon. Maybe I'll take a picture this Sunday.

This week's big developments: Your baby can now squint, frown, grimace, pee, and possibly suck his/her thumb! Thanks to brain impulses, his facial muscles are getting a workout as his tiny features form one expression after another.

Nephews HS Graduation

Last Night 6/7/12 was my nephew Alec's High School graduation. This makes me feel OLD, because i was a sophomore in high school when he was born! But Citrus Valley H.S. did a cool thing where you can watch graduation online! So Kevin & I along with my parents watched his graduation from Idaho. It was awesome.

I am so proud of him!
