Glitter Toes & Tow Trucks

My Parents and Sister Natalie along with her two boys (Sam & Dallin) came to visit Kevin & I up here in Idaho. We had a Grand Time. They got up here around 8pm on Thursday evening. Kevin & I had to work on friday (me just half day...Kevin full day), so the family picked us up for some lunch. We took them to a local Favorite of ours....Burnt Lemon Grill.

We enjoyed a yummy lunch and conversation and when we got up to leave...Natalie's keys were no where to be found. So alas we went out to the van and there they were...on the center console of the car. Oops! So she called a locksmith to get us in the van.



Apparently as we chatted with him we found out some interesting things...like him stealing cars when he was younger, etc... Nice guy... interesting...but horrible oral hygiene. I thought he had 'chew' stuck in his teeth but Natalie said no that his teeth were just "jacked up" (not her words...but i can't think of exactly what she said).

Then later that day i called my friend Lauren to help us do Glitter Toes.

Natalie went first and did a nice blue.

I did a nice Gold/Yellow.

Dirty Dash SLC 5K

Had an awesome time last Saturday taking part in the
SLC 5k Dirty Dash.

LOVED IT!!

Kevin did it with me this time and kept saying...
"this is so much fun, i should have done it last year!"

I didn't do as well personally as i had hoped.
I felt in better shape last August when i did the Boise 10K.
So for this years Boise 10K i hope to be in better shape...
after all my summer workouts.

YWs Trip to SLC

We were given the AWESOME opportunity to take our ward Young Women to the YW General Broadcast in SLC yesterday. We did a little (long) day trip down. We were missing 3 girls & 2 leaders. We are a small group but they are FANTASTIC girls!! Thanks to Liz & Mark for driving...thanks to Cody & Riley for watching their kids so their wives could come...thanks to Tegan's mom for watching their 3 sick boys so Mark & Tegan could both come. Thanks to Kevin for making the trip as well.

for letting us take your girls so far from home.

I hope the girls had a great time, because i did.

This morning's sunrise

While we were gone yesterday it snowed a little.
Bishop texted Kevin & I at 11:06pm last night worried if we were home yet.
We both noticed the text as 11:25pm as we were about a mile from our exit.
THANK YOU BISHOP for letting us go!!!!

Snowshoeing

We went snowshoeing a couple weeks ago (ok probably a month ago) and here are a few pics of our trip. Our stinkin' camera battery is finally dying. It will not keep a charge. So sad we missed out on some good shots.
