Today there was a blood drive up at the Stake Center and i signed up to donate. I use to do it alot in CA and since moving to ID I just haven't. So i am glad i was able to do it today. The lady there was VERY excited to see me...well not ME per se...but my O negative blood type. We were chatting a bit and i said my mom & i would get called ALOT to donate. She said...you'll get called alot now too. We are in NEED of your blood type.So to those that can....Donate blood. Its an easy gift to be given.

You are so good. I can't give blood because I had convulsions last time, but I think it's a great thing to do. And your blood really is great. The universal donor, right? Hope you're doing well!
hey I have o- blood too. and I know what it is like to get called a lot too. Good job girl!
Eric has O blood also...but he has only given once and hated it. He said he would only do it again for a loved one! The his his vein and he about passed out cause it was going to fast. Even the lady doing it was suprised how fast his bag filled up. Crazy!
If only I wasn't so afraid of needles....My dad has O negative too and donates every time they have a drive, and yes they call him to come in
Collette i had a fun visit with your dad actually at the donation center. He is a funny guy!
My husband has O+ blood, and used to donate regularly. Since he came back from Afghanistan he hasn't been allowed to give blood. I find that a rather ironic side effect of serving in the Army.
