Saturday Trip...

...to YELLOWSTONE NATIONAL PARK. Can i saw that i love we live only 1.5 hours from YNP. It was so nice to go up on Saturday spend the day and then come home. I really didn't want to spend the gas $$ but it was so nice to get out and enjoy the day and the beautiful-ness of YNP. Got some pics, so i hope you'll like them.

As we entered the Park we got stuck in a herd of buffalo walking along the road. We got quite up close and personal. I had my window down and they were literally like a foot & a half from my side of the car. It was pretty cool to hear them breath as they shuffled by.

Buffalo on the road

Kevin driving us through the herd. I bet we were behind them for about 20 mins.

We got by them, but the HUGE line of cars behind us didn't quite make it.

Baby Buffalo with their moms. They look pretty much just like calves, but they are orange.

This buffalo was laying in the sun in a dirt patch. We walked on a board walk probably about 20 feet from him and another buffalo. It was really cool because when we breather you saw the dirt fly. I didn't get a picture of that. dang it.

We saw quite a few Elk as well. But never any babies. They must have been hiding in the tree line.

This guy was pretty big. People were asking if it was a Moose. Come on people, look at his face. It's so not a moose. Which we didn't see any of those either, Moose.

We did see some babie geese. They were so cute. There were probably three bunches of babies right there by the river and they were the only ones we saw all day. So i'm glad we pulled over when we did.

Kevin tweaked his ankle playing basketball thursday night, so he thought he would "ice it" in Lake Yellowstone. I think he was frozen up his shin. That water was cold! He has to put his feet i think in every body of water we have visited.

Kevin walking along Lake Yellowstone.

Lastly, us at Lake Yellowstone. It was a BEAUTIFUL DAY!

Big Brother

So Mother's day weekend we went out and saw Kevin's family. It was a BUSY weekend for Kevin. He was helping his brother put in new counter tops in the kitchen. It wasn't the kind where you buy them pre-made and just drop them on. it's where you ahve to put the wood down, put the formica on it and everything. They did it ALL saturday afternoon till about midnight and then from about 9:30am-7:30pm Sunday and it wasn't even finished when we left. Hopefully it's done now. We should call and see. But we did get some news the week prior to going out. Jeff & Barbara are expecting #2 in October. They should find out at the end of this month what they are having. I'm saying Girl. We'll see if i'm right. Well here is the ONLY picture i took the entire weekend. It's of Karter who is going to be the big brother. Isn't he just cute?!

thought this was cute...

The only survivor of a shipwreck was washed up on a small, uninhabited island. He prayed feverishly for God to resuce him. Everyday he scanned the horizon for help, but none seemed forthcoming. Exhausted, he eventually managed to build a little hut out of driftwood to protect him from the elements, and to store his few possessions.

One day, after scavenging for food, he arrived home to find his little hut in flames, with smoke rolling up to the sky. He felt the worst had happened, and everything was lost. He was stunned with disbelief, grief, and anger. he cried out, "God! How could you do this to me?"

Early the next day, he was awakened by the sound of the ship approaching the island! It had come to resuce him! "How did you know i was here?," ask the weary man of his rescuers. "We saw your smoke signal," they replied.

The moral of this story: it's easy to get discouraged when things are going bad, but we shouldn't lose heart, because God is at work in our lives...even in the midst of our pain and suffering. Remember that the next time your little hut seems to be burning to the ground. It just may be a smoke signal that summons the Grace of God.

Friendly Reminder

I got a friendly reminder from Tiff that i haven't written in a while. I guess there hasn't been too much to write about. The weather is beautiful; and actually quite warm. It's hard to be inside all day. Work is good. Busy. The house is coming along. We still don't know when we will be in. It's quite annoying but i guess that is part of the process everyone has to deal with. We are so close though.

We are heading to Kevin's parent's this weekend. We are picking up our bikes. We are SO excited to be able to go riding again. We've been wanting them for a while know (they were storing them for us through the winter) but we just figured they could bring them when they help us move. Well since we don't know what that will be and it is Mother's Day this weekend...we thought we'd head out there.

Hopefully I'll get some pics this weekend to post. I haven't really taken any lately. I'll try to see if Kevin can get some of me to post. LOL. Not that you really want to see me, but maybe a few of you might. LOL.

We were supposed to have game night tonight, but it got canceled. I'm sad, but Kevin is kind of relieved. He is pretty tired from basketball last night. They played later then usual last night. He didn't get home until 12:45am!

Class is going good. I really like it. I got a 90% on my first test. Well actually an 86%, but she gave us all 4 percentage points extra. Excellent! Thank you, I'll take them.

Guess that's about it for now. Have a great weekend everyone!

tales from Denver

So i had a great time in Denver for my conference. I arrived at noon on Saturday and met up with some people from BYU-Provo for a ride over to the hotel. They were renting a car, and i was just going to take a shuttle. But i'll go for a free ride, then pay for a ride any day. Got to the hotel, checked in and was starving. So from my HUGE window in my room i could see a Quizno's right down the street. So i headed down there and found out it wasn't even open. I think they were still in the process of hiring, etc. So i went wandering try to find somewhere to eat. I ran across a Cheesecake Factory. I wasn't going to go there by myself for lunch. So i kept wandering. I ran into this "mall" and saw they had a food court. So i went up there to see what i could get. Low and behold i found...
PANDA EXPRESS!!!

I was so excited! I love this place and we don't have one near us. So i quickly got in line and filled up on yummy food!

Then after i was suffienctly full, i went out to wander the streets of Denver LoDo to see what i could find. I walked for about 2.5 hours. It was a beautiful day. Here are some pics of things i saw...

Cool train station that they use for trips to ski area's and other places around the Denver area. I could also see this from my room.

This cool building shared the parking lot of the train station.

Just some cool fans above a door way on the streets in Denver LoDo.

Coor's Baseball Field! Home of the Rockies. It's a way nice stadium!

Another view of Coor's Stadium.

I went up to the gate's and tried to get an inside shot of the field. It wasn't so blown out when i was looking through the lens. You could see some of the field, but all you see is bright light. Oh well.

This building looked like a warehouse at one time. But i had a good chuckle about first two names. :)

This was the first building a came across that had a painting on the side of it. I thought it was really cool. As we were making our way back to the airport via the shuttle, we saw alot more. I wish i could have gotten some pics of them.

Just another cool sign painted on a building.

OK, so i saved the best for last. During my travels i saw an Asian Market. So i was curious to see what they offered, since i use to live in "Asian Nation" in CA. I just couldn't believe what i saw. Above a few of the aisle's they have BUG ZAPPERS just hanging there killing bugs in the store. I was so shocked. I just had to get a picture of it but didn't want to be too obvious. So that's why it's at a weird angle. LOL.

So after my walking I went back to the hotel and cleaned up and got ready for my dinner with our Alumni Ambassador's. I invited my past roommate Eliza and her husband to join us. It was SO awesome to see her again and meet her husband and little daughter. I am so glad that Eliza met someone that makes her so happy. Bryan you are a good guy! After dinner i hung out with Eliza & Bryan for a while. They took me to walmart for a few things i needed then back to the hotel.

Sunday my coworker Kathy arrived just in time for check in to our conference. we checked in, ran to get some lunch and then back for the beginning of the conference. The conference was for the company that makes our system for keeping track of our Alumni, etc. So they are coming out with a new program and it was telling us all about it and the new feature's etc. We will be really excited to get it, but to our dismay we were told it might take a YEAR to get it. We are hoping sooner.

Monday we had classes for the conference all day. We did sneak out during the afternoon because we didn't want to attend those classes since they didn't pertain to us. LOL. So we tried going to the Denver Mint. We missed it by 5 minutes. We were sad. But then we decided to stay "out and about" and went shopping. Kathy spent the money, i just encouraged her. LOL. She bought me a shirt to go with the skirt she bought for my birthday. I can't wait to wear it. I'll have to take a picture.

We went back to the hotel and met our dinner group for dinner. We went to the Cheesecake Factory, we were hoping for PF Chang's but we got out voted. LOL. It was still really good.

Tuesday, conference first thing in the morning and then headed to the airport. Got home in to Idaho Falls at 5:30pm. Kevin picked me up and we headed it. It's great to be home. I like our small little town, though it was nice to have all those stores and resturants. But there are WAY TOO MANY one way streets in Denver. It drove me nuts!

So that is my trip in a very large nut shell. :)

I'm back

Well, i guess i've been back for about two days now (in about 3 hours), but things have just been busy. I plan on giving a review of my trip to Denver and some pics i took there. But that will have to wait because i don't have the pics i want to show you here at work with me. I'll try to bring them tomorrow.

I want to give a CONGRATULATIONS shout out to Russell & Katie on the birth of their little daughters born yesterday (5/2/07).
Madylin Joy - was born first. She was 3 lbs 15oz and 16in.
Morgan Grace - was second. She was 6 lbs 3 oz and 20 in. - little piggy stealing her sisters food. LOL.
They did a c-section and they ended up having to put Katie all the way under because the other meds weren't doing what they should have. The girls were breathing on their own, but i think taken to the NICU for precaution. Russell says they are BEAUTIFUL! :)
They are identical twins, except for their size difference right now. Congrats! I can't wait to see pictures!

new purse!

I got my new purse today and I LOVE IT!!! I also got a little cell phone carrier too. It's fantastic!!! Thanks Natalie!!! (it's my b-day present). I'll have to post pics when i get back from CO, but check out these websites too see what i am talking about.

http://beachcitieshandbags.com/Home_Page.html

I think the second one is a distributor of the first one. I think. LOL. They are the same bags; the first one has a few more options though.

TGIF!!!!

I am so tired today, but i'm so glad it's FRIDAY!!! I am heading to Denver tomorrow morning to meet with some of our Alumni Ambassador's and also to attend a conference (sun-tues). So kevin will be home for 4 days by himself. Poor guy. But he's got projects that will keep him busy. Now i won't be able to distract him. LOL. I get to see my old roommate Eliza & her family. I'm SO exicted for that. It's been a long time!

So today is a clean up day at work and get things together to take with me to our Ambassador's. So i better get crackin'.

See you all Wednesday. Except you Eliza Jane...see you TOMORROW!!!! :) woo hoo!!!!

OK here's a pic for ya...

So, Kevin is an artist as most of you know. He will paint our kid's rooms (once we are blessed with kids, seeing how we will be married 7 years this July. Not bitter.) Anywhos... here is a picture of Kevin & my nephew Alec standing infront of the wall Kevin painted in Alec's bedroom. I bet this was from 2002-ish. Pretty cool huh? *they are doing the spiderman hand thing where the web shoots out.

weekend update

So the yard sale went pretty good for Tina & Jared. I mostly sat around talking to them and playing with the puppies! There were 4 puppies on Friday and then 11 puppies on Saturday. Their friends had 2 litters 3 days apart (13 puppies total). Four have gone to new homes. I SO wanted to take one, but its not fair to have a dog in a confined area (patio), they need space! So one day we'll get one, when we have a real yard and space.

Saturday we drove down to Pocatello to Darren's surprise b-day party his siblings threw for him. It was alot of fun to hang out with everyone.

Sunday we attended a "going away party" for Tina & Jared. It was alot of fun. These friends of theirs are the same friends that we met when they invited us up to Island Park to go snow mobiling. I hope we stay in touch with them. They are really cool people.

Monday we didn't go to the gym, i slacked and didn't do homework over the weekend, so we stayed home and i worked on that while Kevin worked on his projects. I have class in an hour and i am really looking forward to it. It's an excellent class!

My friend Alecia looked at my blog yesterday and said..."i like looking at pictures, you need more pictures." So i hope to be really good about that this summer.

Well i better get back to work. Happy Tuesday everyone!

two things...

HAPPY 39th WEDDING ANNIVERSARY MOM & DAD!!!

Here is a pic of Kevin & Jeff checking out the car last weekend. Thanks again Jeff!!!

Yard Sale

So I will be helping my friends (Tina & Jared) do their yard sale this weekend (Fri & Sat). They are moving to Nebraska for Jared to do his Master's program. They are selling EVERYTHING. They are moving out there with pretty much what ever they can fit in their car and truck. I'm going over tonight after my meeting to help them price & organize things. We are so sad they are leaving, but are so excited for them to be moving in the direction they feel is best for them. Hopefully everything goes this weekend.

Student

I am officially a student again! Working for the University has it's benefits. I can take 6 credits a semester for free. It's great. I have my Associates but not a Bachelor's degree. I'm not sure what i want to get it in, but i know i need to get back into the game. I have not been a student in 8 years!!! Crazy i know! I'm old. LOL. I am taking a Women's Health class. It is going to be great. I did my homework last night. It was weird having homework again. This is a class that has a lot of "busy" work, but i think it will be good. I'm totally excited about it.

Movie Update

oh yes. I failed to mention...though we loved the movie (Blades of Glory) and thought it was hilarious, there is some sexual references and such. Just so you aware.

Beautiful Weekend

So Kevin & I took off work on Friday and went to a few "junk yards" looking for a car part to fix our 87 Honda Accord. We found one, but then we didn't end up needing it, so we took it back and got most of our back because the guy kept $5 of it for taking it off the other car. Kevin got a sweet deal on another brand new part from Checker Auto parts. We also found a new door handle for our 93 Honda at a different junk yard. That was an awesome find! It's not the maroon color of our interior, it's black, but it opens the door, which is what we needed. It had crack in half and we were worried that one of these days we weren't going to be able to get out of the car. LOL. Kevin's brother Jeff came up late Friday night and they worked on the car Saturday morning. Got it done under two hours. We've been driving it and it works great. THANKS JEFF!!!! And a special thank you to Barbara for letting Jeff come out. We treated Jeff to lunch and he then was on his way home by 2pm. Oh! Apparently one of our neighbor's used to be Jeff's roommate when they went to school in Pocatello. Small world! So they chatted for a while and exchanged information. Sunday, totally lazy day. I watched two movies and some car racing on TV. Kevin worked on the computer most of the evening. Friday after car part "shopping" we went and played wiffle ball & catch at a ball field near by then went to the gym. It was a good weekend. I got mopping & vacuuming done Saturday while the boys fixed the car.

total of six

OK, we were two of the six people (3 couples) in the theater last night. So it was a little unnerving thinking that everyone would hear you laugh and know exactly where it was coming from. But once the movie started, i didn't really care who heard me. We thought it was HILARIOUS!!! We laughed the entire time! Kevin was telling me about things he noticed in the "background" of the scenes that i didn't pay attention to. So we kept saying "next time we watch it..." I give it two thumbs up. I say if you like silly movies, then you'd enjoy this. This is one that i'd totally buy and could watch over and over. I hope i'm not getting your hopes up to have you tell me you hated it, but we throughly enjoyed it. We're weird like that. :)

Going to the Movies

So tonight i think we are going to go to the movies and use a gift card that we got at Christmas time. We are going tonight because there aren't alot of students in town yet, since it's between semesters. We thought about going this weekend, but there should be alot of people in town just coming back for school or dropping off new/transfer students. We are going to see "Blades of Glory". I think it looks hilarious!

http://www.bladesofglorymovie.com/

I'll have to let you know tomorrow what we though. :)

longest day

I don't know what it was, but today has felt like THE LONGEST DAY EVER!!! I am so glad it's time to go home.

We went to the gym last night for probably the 1st time in 2 weeks and i was a little dissappointed in my performance. I am really trying to keep my heart rate in my "zone" that Tiffany & i figured out. It's really hard! I guess i am just really out of shape or something cause i'm ALWAYS having to slow down. Then there is Kevin who never even hits the middle numbers of his heart rate zone. So he can go faster and burn more calories and there i am just trying to stay in a good heart rate zone. Man its frustrating. I guess with time i won't let it bug me. LOL. Well off to the gym again tonight.

Graduation & Utah (HUGE POST)

So, graduation ended well. I wasn't a wreck like i was in December, so that was nice. I sat by some great people at the Banquet. Clean up took a little longer than i planned, but oh well. Got it all in the van and home by about 7:30-ish pm. Kevin came and picked me up, we went home, i changed out of my dress, and we hit the road by 8pm. We got down to my Aunt & Uncle's place by 11:30pm. They were still up so we knocked on the door. We ended up talking with my cousin Kristin & one of her daughters Kaylee till about 1am. That was alot of fun. We couldn't remember the last time we had seen eachother. We are guessing at Carolyn's wedding...which will be 14 years ago this May! Crazy! Well as promised there are lots of pictures to show you. Hope you look now before people tell me to take them down. :)

Saturday morning we spent at my Aunt & Uncle's house hanging with the family. Carolyn & Natalie both left around lunch time to make the drive back to CA. Mom, Dad, Kevin & I went into Salt Lake City. We went to the new conference center, and then around temple square. We saw the new "Joseph Smith" movie and it was amazing! We saw it back in March at the Idaho Falls Temple visitors center but we were watching Charlee and didn't get much out of it. This time it was so powerful! Then we had dinner with the family and then back to the house for a fun game of "Pop Culture Trivial Pursuit - DVD edition". Which apparently Nick ALWAYS wins, well the Brown's won this round! WOO HOO! Let us know when you want a rematch! :) hee hee. That was alot of fun.

Sunday said goodbye to my Aunt & Uncle. Hung out with Mom & Dad for about an hour and then they hit the road to make the drive back to CA as well. We will see them around labor Day again. WOO HOO! We went to Sandy to see our friends the Mazuran's. We've been to their house once back in July 2006. We made it back there by just what we rememebered. Not to shabby, huh? We visited with them for about 3 hours. Man i miss those guys!!! It was fun catching up and seeing what they had done to the house since the last time we were there. We will have to make more trips this summer down there.

Easter dinner was PANDA EXPRESS!!! It was so yummy and WAY filling. Thanks Kevin for taking me there. You are the best! :)

Day one done...

So day one of Cap & Gown pickup is done. YEAH! We gave out about 600 Caps & gowns. Hopefully the other 575-ish will show up tomorrow and we won't have to worry about people coming saturday morning. Well i guess i won't have to worry because i won't be there on Saturday. WOO HOO!!!! They don't really need me anyway. I'd be in the way. LOL.

Tomorrow is Cap & Gown day #2, along with the banquet and 3 convocations. After the banquet i'm really free to go home. YEAH!!!! Well we will be driving to UT actually.

I'm still at work. I need to print Place Cards for the banquet tomorrow. I better go. Hopefully i survive. ;) hee hee.

See you all on Monday! Hoppy Easter everyone!

Is it Saturday yet???

So, graduation is coming together. I'm a little nervous about getting through it all without freaking out! But i've got great people to help me out. Which is fantastic.

We made our plans to go to UT and stay with my aunt & uncle. Actually we are staying in their RV in the drive way. It's going to be fun. My uncle said he'd have it all ready and leave a light on for us...since we will get in so late on Friday night. Thank you so much. Saves us some $$$.

I am really excited to see my family this weekend! I hope all goes well. This will be the last time i see Natalie & family for awhile. They leave for NC at the end of April. So sad.

My cold...still here. I guess i should probably try to get into the Drs office. Which will probably have to wait till next week. Hopefully it will be gone by then. But it seems that Natalie & the boys are sick, Heather (my cousin) is sick. So i think we will ALL be spreading some germs. LOL.

Monday, April 02, 2007

Changes...

So we don't have to move out of our apartment. They are going to work with us this summer. YEAH!!! Too bad we already have stuff packed into a storage unit. Oh well. Luckily we can get to to all. We went and got the recipe books out. LOL.

Tina & Jared, whom we were going to live with, got the EXCITING news they have been accepted into the Masters program in Nebraska! They will become Cornhusker Fans! They are moving either the first weekend of May or sometime in July. They will find out more information probably today. We are SO excited for them, but sad they will not be around. It's been fun hanging out with them again. It had been a long time!

We are heading to UT Friday night instead of getting up early saturday morning. YEAH! I can't wait to see my family, even if it is just for a day. It's been almost a year since i've seen my sisters and about 7 months since i've seen my parents.

My cold is still around. I don't feel as bad, but still not 100%...i'm guessing 75%. I am hoping & praying i will be 100% by Friday. It's graduation & family time. I don't want to spread my germs too much. : )

Guess that's about it. I'm starving...need to see if Kevin's ready for lunch.

to see a dr. or no...

So this cold is worse than the one i thought it might still be. I've been trying to take just over the counter cold medicine but nothing seems to be breaking through the barrier of "stuff" in my sinuses (sp?). So kevin mentioned maybe i have a sinus infection. His brother Jeff had one when we went out there a few weeks ago. I really hope thats not what i have. But i just don't want to go in and have him say..."nope it's just a cold, nothing we can do to help". So i haven't decided on what to do. Maybe we'll see how i am feeling Monday if it's worth going in. Hopefully i'll be feeling much better by then. Seeing how it's graduation next weekend, our trip to UT to see my family and moving into our friends place till ours is done. It's gonna be CRAZY!

Wednesday, March 28, 2007

it's back...

So, my cold either went into hiding or this is a new one. But it's kicking my butt. I so want to be home napping, lying around in my PJs. LOL. We went and bought some new cold medicine at lunch time. So far i don't feel much different. Why is it when you are sitting down your nose is stuffy but then you stand up and it's "fine". How random is that?! I don't get it. Kevin was nice and made my lunch for me while i sat in the bean bag. So i'm debating if i want to go to the gym tonight or veg. We'll see how i'm feeling in about 2 hours.

Today's weather has been perfect for staying inside. Cloudy, windy, rainy/trying to snow. Good thing we are at work all day and get to use their heaters instead of using our heat. LOL. We are at only 40 degrees right now. Tomorrow we should hit 47. fun fun.

Cool New Bags

My sister Natalie saw these bags at the OC Swapmeet (Orange County). She bought a diaper bag (which i don't see on the website) but she says it's AWESOME! I'll see it next week when we seet eachother for the day in UT. They are made out of neoprene (you know, wetsuit material)! here is there website...

OK, so i got overly eager yesterday. Painted my board before church and then had Tiffany come over at about 8pm last night to help me put on the letters. It's SO EASY and FUN! Thanks Jaclyn for making my letters!!! Thanks Tiff for being "crafty" with me. We think it looks GREAT!!!! So, here is a picture...

Vinyl Sign

A little shout out to Jaclyn Landon. THANK YOU SO MUCH for making my lettering! Jaclyn is starting a home business of making those vinyl lettering that you put on the boards or tiles. I work with her sister Tiffany and she told me about Jaclyn doing this. So i asked her to make me a saying. I just got the letters today! WOO HOO! I'm excited. I'll have to go get a board now. I'll run across the street here in a few minutes to see if they have one. If not i'll go to Lowes this weekend and get some board. I'll take a picture of it when it's done. : )

Furry & Feathery Friends

So at the Studio where Kevin works they have "pet squirrels". They buy peanuts and feed them pretty much 4 days out of the week. They are completely spoiled! Well they have gotten to the point that they will eat out of their hands! So i tried this yesterday and the squirrel was afraid of me. Kevin said it's because i have a "different smell then they are used to". So finally with Kevin by my side the squirrel took the peanut out of my hand, twice! It was awesome! They have too much fun with those little guys.

So, Kevin & I like owls. As you can tell with out "friend" Colonel Sanders. Well, i saw online these shoes. I think they are awesome! Too bad they are out of stock! Dang it. I think they are cool.
P.S. i worked a full day yesterday and today. Thank goodness for modern medicine that takes away head congestion. Though i am REALLY tired today. ugh.

Weekend and now sick

This past weekend we took Friday off to babysit our niece Charlee while Lynn & Shauna attend the wedding of Shauna's sister. I was a little worried that Charlee was going to freak out as soon the they left us alone with her. But it turned out just fine. She was really good. Except for the 15 mins she cried till she feel asleep. Which i couldn't get her to do. She liked sleeping on Kevin. It was really cute. :)

We then drove out to Twin Falls and stayed the night with Jeff & Barbara. We got up saturday and they made us a great breakfast and then we went down into the canyon of the snake river and played on the swings, walked out to the river, played from "baseball" with a wiffle ball & bat. It was alot of fun. Kevin's parents joined us after awhile and they brought us pizza and water. The water for sure was needed. It was about 74 degrees which was WAY HOT compared to what we have been used to lately. Then we went back to Jeff & Barbs and cleaned/organized some of our stuff in their basement. They organized some of their stuff as well. We took one load of stuff back home. Computer boxes mostly, a big rubbermaid with little boxes in it, and then our "old" microwave to give to our friends Tiffany & Donny. They have been married since August and didn't have one. How did they live?!?! LOL. Glad it's gone to a good home. We also attended the reception of Shauna's sister on saturday afternoon.

Jeffrey was feeling a little sick when we were out there and i'm afraid that he might have shared his germs with me. I woke up this morning not feeling all that great. And i still don't feel great. I'm considering taking the afternoon off. We'll see how i feel after lunch.

Weekend in Paul (Burley ID area)

Well, Saturday morning after going to the airport (and Kevin sleeping till 8:45am - before i woke him up) doing 2 loads of laundry, doing dishes, getting the garbage ready to be taken out...we left for Paul (Kevin's parents place) and got there at about 12:15pm. It was a surprise to Doug that all the kids were going to be there and hang out on Saturday. And he was surprised. It was Doug's b-day on Thursday and Linda's on Sunday. So it was fun for both of them to have us all there. We did some family bowling that was alot of fun. We played games, hung out and watched a movie.

I spoke with my parents on Saturday as well and they are planning a trip up here in August (probably)! YEAH!!! That will be fun to have them come up again! When we see them in April we will hopefully (probably) get our BBQ grill from them. We gave it to them when we moved up here, but they don't use it. So we are getting it back. Since in a bit we will actually have a place to put it. YEAH!

I'll probably have some pictures tomorrow to post from the weekend. None of me of course. Since i take most of them (the pictures). LOL.

early morning

No sleeping in for my this saturday morning. I am taking a friend to the airport. Luckily it's only to the Idaho Falls Airport, but i have to be at her house at 5:15am! YIKES! That is way early. But she is a wonderful lady and it's worth it.

Have a wonderful weekend everyone. We are hoping for some NICE weather. I'd love to be able to be outside.

Panda & Exercise Update

So, i received one email from the Panda Express Corporation. They said they have sent my request to the development office to have a new panda built in BOISE! I wrote them right back saying "Not Boise, that is the other side of the state! We want it in Idaho Falls/Rexburg". I have yet to hear anything back. So who knows. I'll have to email them again I'm sure.

Exercising. We've been doing really good about going to the gym almost every night. Well last night we finally decided to lift weights. OK, so in high school & Jr. College i was in really good shape lifting quite a bit. I'VE BECOME A WIMP!!! It was embarrassing how little i was lifting. So we've decided that lifting will now become part of our workout routine. Hopefully there will be no more flabby arms this summer! I know I'm not going to win our "biggest loser" contest, but i am so grateful that i started doing it, because it's got us going to the gym and feeling really good. Thanks Heather & Gang!

Crazy Crazy

Things have been SO CRAZY at work this past week. That's one of the reason's for no posting for almost a week. I probably shouldn't even be doing it now, but i'm going to anyway. Weather has been pretty good. We did get about 4-5 inches of snow last week, but it's already melted a ton. We are supposed to have some nice weather coming our way again...hitting into the 40s. YEAH!!!! But that could totally change in a heart beat. We will be seeing my family for a day in April. I am WAY excited. i wish it was for longer, but i'll take what i can get.
