So Sunday we drove Kevin's car to church. I noticed he needed gas. I said "lets just get it now so you don't have to worry about it tomorrow." He said "no, i have plenty to get to & from work tomorrow. I'll just get it on the way home." "Fine" I said.
Well i called Kevin to see where he was so i can send him to the store to get some eggs for dinner. i say "so where are you?" He said "i'm on the side of the freeway." "Haha, no really where are you?" He replied "i ran out of gas about a mile from the off ramp. I need you to come tow me." So i had to drive out to Jerome, turn around and get right back on the freeway so i can get over to him to tow him to the gas station.
Whenever i see anyone on the side of the freeway, i always try to get into another lane farther from them to give them space. Well apparently alot of people don't think that way! People were FLYING by us at like 80 mph! Scared the crap out of me! well there was a huge break in traffic so off we went. going 40 mph. It was kind of funny looking back on it. I was kind of irritated when i first learned of his situation. He has done this in the past, this running out of gas cause "i can make it". Silly Kevin. he should have listened to his wife. :)

Running out of gas is embarrasing... we did that not even two weeks ago. Why don't they just listen??
Men are so funny. They always think they are right when it comes to cars.
Yeah, we saw Kevin on the side of the freeway, drove clear back to Jerome and stopped to find out if he was okay. Glad it only needed gas and not soemthing more!! And glad you both got home safe! :)
Silly boys...running out of gas is a great fear of mine. I always get gas soon after I get to 1/4 tank. Steve just laughs at me. But I have never ran out of GAS!!
