closing week?

Well Kevin and I stopped by the house on Friday to see what's been done, nothing. LOL. There are still a lot of little things in the house that need to be completed and i do not understand why it's taking so long! We are supposed to close THIS Thursday. I just do not see how that is going to happen. Here is the latest picture of the house. Looking good. They landscape the front and we are in charge of doing the back. We could have had them do the back yard but they wanted an INSANE about of $$ for it. We can do it ourselves cheaper. Just need to put in some manual labor.


Friday we went to the Cassia County Fair after work. We picked up Kevin's mom on the way out there. It's the fair that Kevin grew up going to. We try to make it every year but that doesn't always happen. LOL. Kevin LOVES this food booth that sells nothing but Corn on the Cob. They have the cooked corn on a stick and dip it in a crock pot FULL of melted butter! It's divine! LOL. Here is Kevin with his TWO corn on the cobs. See the napkins are soaked with melted butter.


After we walked around and saw all the animals, 4-h art displays and such we ate some real food. Hamburger's. Corn just wasn't filling me up...maybe i should have had two. ;) Kevin said "Let me go win you a prize." I said "ok". So we walked over there and they have the booth where you squirt the water into a hole and the first to reach the top wins. Well i love that game so we all played that. Well I ended up winning my own prize. LOL. So I got a small pink gorilla. We walked around trying to find another game so Kevin could win me a prize. None of the others looked that great to play. Chances weren't good at winning. So we went back to the water gun game. We played again. I ended up winning again! LOL. So i upgraded my pink gorilla and got...
