These past 4-5 days have been so exhausting!
Thursday a BIG THANK YOU to Kevin's baby bro Jeff. He helped Kevin get all our "big stuff" out of our 3rd floor apartment while i babysit Jeff's two boys. When we got over to the house (late of course) and a lot of people from work were there. It took Kevin & Jeff 2 hours to load the truck...it took about 20 mins to unload the truck! Another BIG THANK YOU to our friends from work that took the time to help us out!!
Friday was spent running errands in the morning and getting the apartment cleaned in the afternoon. A BIG THANK YOU to Kevin's brother Lynn & wife Shauna for helping us out with the cleaning! We couldn't have done it without you guys!!!
Saturday was spent all day out in Burley at Keith & Tisa's wedding! The last Brown boy is married off. It was a beautiful day. We had some cloud coverage for part of the day, so that was nice. The wedding took place right along the Snake River at 6pm. It was beautiful! Though i got a little sunburned & 4 big mosquito bites! One of them still itches! Welcome to the family Tisa! You make a great addition!
Sunday we drove up to Rigby/Rexburg for the day. Our friends Rochelle & Eric blessed little Abe. Eric's parents were here from CA, so they thought they'd do it now instead of them making another trip out. Abe is SO TINY! I swear my shoes (Doc Martens) weigh more then he does. LOL. Rochelle said "your kids will never be this tiny." I said "nope, only if they are 3 months premature." (Kevin was 9.15 & i was 8.11 when we were born). LOL. He is adorable though. Thanks for a great day you guys!! Congrats again!
Monday was spent painting the house! Well, we got the living room/dining room/kitchen & both hallways painted yesterday. Oh, and inside the pantry & both closets. It was an ALL Day/Night project! We started about 7am and finished somewhere around 1am. I went to bed at midnight. I just wasn't functioning that late at night. LOL. Most of the house is a "toasted almond" color and we have an accent wall in the dining room which is "Bayleaf". I'll take pictures soon. We don't have the computer unpacked yet. So those pics will have to wait a little bit.
Tonight we'll do some touch up work and then paint the bathroom and laundry room. I'll be SO GLAD when the painting is done and we can really unpack!
We have to be somewhat unpacked by this weekend. Our dear friends Chris & Sarah are coming up from Sandy (w/ their 3 kids) for the weekend. Should be LOTS of fun! We are excited!
Oh! And tonight our friend Ray & Emily move into their new house...which is across the street from us! YAY!
Well, i guess i should get some work done.
