interesting...

I just ran across this interesting little 'fact'...

Cinnamon
1/2 to 3/4 tsp. of cinnamon with every meal helps keep insulin & blood sugar levels under control. It contains a phytochemical called methyl hydroxy chalcone polymer (MHCP) which improves cellular glucose utilization and increases the sensitivity of insulin receptors.

Chris and I both have been taking cinnamon for about 4 months now. Chris is hypoglycemic and I have a glucose intolerance. It does seem to be helping!

Do you think it works if I put it on toast with sugar? :)

Hey Jackie, Have you been on Metphormin yet. I have PCOS and they put me on this. It helped us get pregnant along with having some surgery to remove cysts and tumors. I guess it probably does the same thing as cinamon. Good luck I am praying for you guys.

Yes, I've been on metformin for about 6yrs. i don't know if it really does anything for me. but I'll continue on it and hope & pray that it will one day. I have surgery back in 2006 with no success.
